Ali and friends Alex Claridge raised £5,000 for Help For Heroes

After 12 hours in the saddle, Ali and friends Alex Claridge (MD of 79 Group) and Jon Dimmer finally pulled into Oxwich Bay South Wales at around 6pm on 9th July to complete their charity bike ride.

The ride wasn’t without incident: one puncture, one very near miss with two wayward sheep on a steep decent… but with the help of countless energy gels, bars, bananas and peanuts, the ride was an overwhelming success, raising £5,000 for Help For Heroes. For the statisticians amongst you, the 180 mile ride involved climbs totalling 13,500ft, with in the region of 11,000 calories per rider.

Many thanks again to everyone who sponsored the fools.
