Today sees the launch of the new 79 Lighting brand and website.

79 Lighting is dedicated to developing striking luminaires for some of the UK’s most famous high street names and prestigious stores.

Before our team began creative development for this exciting project, we worked with the client to help define their brand personality and voice. Branding sessions helped us understand their market, key points of difference and corporate objectives.

From the name generation process, 79 Lighting came out as the top choice. The rationale behind it lies in the history books. Edison successfully demonstrated the light bulb in 1879.

Nicola, the lead designer on the project spoke in more detail about id implementation: “My objective was to make the website and brochure a catwalk for 79 Lighting’s work. Both pieces are light, have plenty of space and act as a canvas to show off 79’s installations.”
