As promised, we put all the correct answers to our Christmas Specials competition into a Santa-sized sack and drew out a winner. And it was our Nationwide client Stephanie who knew her Muppets from her MPs, Delboys from her Dobbins.
Here she is receiving a cheque from us for £500 for her chosen charity ‘The Alzheimer’s Society’. She also walks away with a DVD box set of her favourite TV show. Don’t let that distract you from your work Stephanie!

Ali along with friend and 79 Group MD Alex Claridge and are taking on the self-imposed challenge of cycling the length of Wales in just one day. From Colwyn Bay to Oxwich Bay, the 300km route will involve negotiating 12,000ft+ of mountains, hills and valleys and no doubt a few sheep along the way.
The pair are aiming to raise over £5k for the charity Help for Heroes, though they may need a little help themselves after this.
The ride is planned for Saturday 9th July and there is still room in the peloton for anyone who fancies it?! Alternatively, if you’d like to support the challenge and the great cause Ali and Alex are fundraising for, please visit www.justgiving.com/alastair-williams

Six months on from the chance meeting at a car boot sale with the family behind this unique and inspirational concept, the all new Fairytale Farm website has gone live.
With ambitions to open the site to the public in the summer of next year, Nick Laister’s vision remains clear: "To create an inclusive facility, designed to be completely accessible to, and stimulate the imagination of, children with varying disabilities, but which these children can enjoy alongside children and families without disabilities.
There are very few rural facilities for disabled children and their families. As most parents of children with special needs know, much of the countryside is out of bounds. Although there are a number of centres for disabled children, these tend to be institutional and require advanced booking, and most mainstream attractions are not fully accessible, despite the efforts of owners.
Fairytale Farm will be different. We will be the first family farm attraction where everything is designed around the needs of children with sensory, learning and physical disabilities. But we hope that children without disabilities will enjoy it too!"
mark-making* has been donating its time and expertise to the project, developing an identity programme for the farm that will help raise its profile, generate greater interest and attract more much needed support. The website design and build follows the creation of the logo and core visual assets earlier in the year.

One written application and supporting documents (submitted in the nick of time), a royal visit from Mike Jennings and Lady Rotherwick (which must have gone ok), and ta-daaa, we're finalists in the Small Business category of the very first West Oxfordshire Business Awards. The results are to be announced at the awards dinner at Eynsham Hall on Friday 11th March. Fingers crossed.
